Meet Heather Mount, who joined One 8 Solutions in November 2025 as a Bookkeeper and brings a blend of technical skill, industry experience, and client-focused service to the team. Based in Massachusetts, Heather has built a solid foundation in accounting with an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration and Accounting from Middlesex Community College in Bedford.
Heather’s background includes cloud-based bookkeeping, multi-state sales tax compliance, and accounting support for fast-paced industries. She works extensively in QuickBooks Online and uses Avalara to simplify complex sales tax requirements for businesses operating across multiple jurisdictions. Before transitioning into client accounting services, she spent five years in Boston’s motion picture industry as a payroll accountant and assistant accountant, where precision and confidentiality were essential.
Outside of work, Heather leads an active life through cycling, kayaking, hiking, skiing, and local 5K events. She also has a lifelong connection to theatre and the arts and contributes to historical research projects within her community.
