Our Team
One 8 Solutions dynamic national team of certified QuickBooks® experts share first-hand know-how of the cloud bookkeeping, accounting and business processes which enables our client’s to grow their businesses with less stress or time-consuming hands-on management of their books.
Since launching One 8 Solutions in 2001 and becoming a certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor, I developed a “client first” business attitude — always putting my client’s unique business needs first. Mostly, I am driven to continuously grow and improve my business skills to help my clients grow their business.

With over 3 years of dedicated service as a Sales and Marketing Manager at One 8 Solutions. Recently promoted to Sales and Marketing Director, I bring a wealth of expertise in strategic planning, execution, and enhancing profitability.
My academic background includes an MFA in Fine Arts, complemented by extensive experience as a freelance marketing consultant and web developer. This diverse skill set affords me a creative advantage in crafting innovative marketing and promotional campaigns.
Beyond overseeing our marketing initiatives, I lead our Strategic Partner and Affiliate Programs and act as the primary contact for new clients. Sandra is a highly accomplished accounting professional, holding an MBA with a focus on Organizational Management from California Lutheran University. She resides in Riverside, CA, and her journey in the field of accounting has been nothing short of remarkable.
In 2020, Sandra embraced the role of Operations Manager at a prestigious bookkeeping firm, where she discovered her true passion. Her dedication lies in crafting a meticulously refined accounting department, promoting a culture of collaboration, productivity, individual accountability, and the empowerment of cross-functional teams.
Larry LaFranchi is the Account Manager Team Lead. Previously, Larry worked as a Controller at the Kripalu Yoga Center in Stockbridge, MA. Prior to that, Larry served as CEO of Clean Energy Innovations. Larry has provided over two decades of improved financial services for a broad range of companies in the for-profit and non-profit space. He believes that delivering financial results focused on the clients’ needs in a timely manner is essential to the success of any organization. He is thrilled to have joined the One 8 Solutions team who are focused on high standards and excellent customer service.

A native of California, Larry is a graduate of UCLA, B.S. Engineering, and MIT Sloan School of Management, MBA. He and lives in Rehoboth, MA, with his wife. When not focusing on the numbers in his work, Larry enjoys bike riding with his wife and watching his favorite teams on TV.
Julie has been part of One 8 Solutions team for 6 years. Her goal was to move away from public accounting and the dreaded tax season to help businesses run their accounting and bookkeeping systems. Julie’s move to One 8 Solutions helped her achieve this goal, and she became a One 8 Solutions accounting specialist with retail, restaurants, and other related point of sale and front-end systems.
Julie’s experience in this area has helped One 8 Solutions clients streamline their bookkeeping processes and provides meaningful reporting using QuickBooks® and other technology.
Tara has been part of One 8 Solutions team for 3 years, probably the hardest working team member we have. Tara has a master’s degree in Accounting and several years of corporate experience. She is taking all that knowledge and expertise to help the small business owner have timely and accurate information in their QuickBooks.
Tara has expanded the reach of One 8 Solutions because of her location near Riverside, CA. This allows us to do some of the work after East Coast business hours, especially if we are working with QuickBooks Desktop.
Evelyn Hickey became an integral part of the One 8 Solutions team in late September 2023. Based in Rhode Island, she brings to the table a wealth of knowledge and expertise in finance and accounting, with a remarkable career spanning over 10 years, including 5 years in a management capacity.
Prior to joining One 8 Solutions, Evelyn carved out a successful career in the Corporate Finance and Accounting Departments of major Medical Sales organizations. Her professional journey has been marked by a consistent dedication to enhancing company revenue and productivity through meticulous cost analysis.
Evelyn is adept at leveraging her skills to lead teams effectively, thriving in high-pressure environments by setting and achieving goals through trusted best practices. Her technical proficiency encompasses various software applications, including QuickBooks, Excel, and SQL. Beyond her technical prowess, Evelyn possesses a diverse set of professional skills, including exceptional communication, problem-solving abilities, and a keen aptitude for data analytics.

Andy has been part of One 8 Solutions team for 17 years. He was a computer programmer that is now an Advanced Level Bookkeeper or Bookkeeper Par Excellence. Between his knowledge and status as an Enrolled Agent (the highest credential the IRS awards) and his years of experience working with QuickBooks®, he can handle the simplest to the complicated.
Andy is extremely thorough, and he will make sure you understand what is going on with your books and the potential effect on your taxes. Andy has a strong understanding of Real Estate Sales and Nonprofits while also serving on a Nonprofit board.
Albert Lazo has joined One 8 Solutions as a part-time Bookkeeping Specialist. Al has more than 2 decades of business consulting experience, which includes over 15 years in business valuation services. He is an accredited Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) skilled in Mergers & Acquisitions, Financial Accounting and Tax Compliance, Corporate Finance, Financial Modeling, and Business Planning. He has valued over $50 billion in business enterprises and intangible assets and has served a diverse range of Fortune 500 and middle market clients in the financial, legal, energy, retail, manufacturing, technology, and life sciences sectors.
Previously, Al was a Vice President at MPI Valuation and a Director with Great American Group’s Corporate Advisory & Valuation Services practice and Silicon Valley Bank’s Valuation Analytics Group. In addition, Al has worked for KPMG LLP’s Economic and Valuation Services Group and BDO, LLP’s Valuation and Business Analytics Group.
Al holds an MBA in International Business & Finance from the Pamplin School of Business, Virginia Tech and a BA in Mathematics & Economics from The University of Vermont.
He currently lives in Charlotte, NC with his wife Harper and two daughters. He enjoys golfing, fly-fishing, and spending time with his wife, kids, and two French bulldogs.
Cheryl joined the One 8 Solutions team recently as a part time Bookkeeper. She is a native of Baltimore, MD and married. She has 30+ years of bookkeeping experience and has worked for wholesale lumber companies and bookbinding company while owning her own bookkeeping business. She likes a challenge and her good eye for detail makes her ideal team member for any situation.
In 2001 Cheryl and her husband moved to Weybridge, VT to build a home on family land. She likes to bake, crochet and scrapbooking. Cheryl has also been an Advisor/Consultant for 23 years for Creative Memories, which has world-class products and a passionate home-based sales force within the scrapbooking industry.
Throughout the last 20 years Patricia enjoys the experience of working in many industries. These include Funeral Services, Brick & Mortar and/or Online Retail, Manufacturing and Distribution and inventory development and auditing needs. She has also recently taken on the focus of bookkeeping to help support her family’s small business.

Mya, a recent addition to the One 8 Solutions team, who wasted no time making a significant impact since joining in August. Mya actively collaborates with multiple clients, specializing in the field of bookkeeping and leveraging her academic background—a Multiple Sciences – Associate of Science degree from Crafton Hills College in Yucaipa, CA, and a Bachelor’s Science degree in Health and Human Services from the University of Arizona in Tucson, AZ.

Additionally, dedicates a portion of her time as an Apprentice Bookkeeper for One 8 Solutions, underscoring her commitment to continuous personal and professional development.

Conor joined the One 8 Solutions team in January of 2023. He is currently a freshman student at Sacred Heart University. Conor hopes to graduate with a major in finance and a minor in accounting. As an Intern at One 8 Solutions, Conor hopes to be able to gain industry experience and take the lessons he learns in school and apply them in the real world.

Gabor Terebesi is an Account Manager with the Payments Team of Intuit for over 15 years.
