Being successful for 25 years takes constant adaptation and a focus on serving customers better. That’s what One 8 Solutions has always aimed for. As we mark our 25th anniversary, we want to reflect on how we’ve grown with the accounting profession and the business owners who have trusted us.
When Jonathan Bello started One 8 Solutions in 2001, things were very different. Most people used desktop accounting software and financial data was often weeks behind. Accounting was seen as just a required task. Cloud technology has changed how accounting works, and accountants are trusted advisors who help businesses make better decisions.
Even though the profession has changed a lot, our commitment to helping business owners understand their finances and build stronger businesses has stayed the same.
Growing Alongside Our Clients
One 8 Solutions started as an IT consulting company for QuickBooks to other accounting and bookkeeping firms. As technology and business needs changed, we changed too. We saw that businesses needed more than just software or reports. They needed a partner who could offer support, insights and guidance all year long.
This growth turned One 8 Solutions into the Client Accounting Services (CAS) firm we are now. We offer bookkeeping, accounting, controller oversight, and business advisory. We work with business owners as part of their team helping them to understand their numbers. We improve their processes and help them make confident decisions for long term growth.
Experience Still Matters
The accounting world has changed a lot in the past 25 years. Cloud platforms have replaced desktop software. Automation has made routine work easier and artificial intelligence keeps making the profession more efficient.
We’ve welcomed these changes because they let us spend less time on transactions and more time helping clients understand their numbers. Technology is now a key part of accounting, but experience and good judgment are still just as important.
Financial software can organize data and create reports, but it can’t sit down with a business owner to learn about their goals or help them make tough decisions. That’s where experienced advisors still make a real difference.
