We’re Hiring: Bookkeeper (Remote, Part-Time)
One 8 Solutions is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join our fully remote team.
This role is for someone who enjoys working in the details, understands how transactions flow through an accounting system, and recognizes when something doesn’t look right. You’ll work across multiple client engagements and help keep financial records accurate, complete, and up to date.
What You’ll Be Doing
Your work will include:
- Processing bills, expenses, payments, deposits, transfers, and other banking activity
- Managing QuickBooks Online bank feeds
- Completing bank, credit card, loan, vendor, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Researching and correcting discrepancies
- Supporting accounts payable and accounts receivable workflows
- Preparing information for 1099 processing
- Following up with clients for missing information or documentation
- Working with cloud-based accounting applications and third-party integrations
We’re looking for someone who takes ownership of their work, follows tasks through to completion, and is willing to investigate the “why” behind an issue before moving on.
What We’re Looking For
Strong QuickBooks Online skills are essential, including QBO Bookkeeping and Level 1 certifications.
You should be comfortable managing multiple clients and competing deadlines while working independently in a remote environment. We’re also looking for someone who is comfortable learning new technology and using modern tools, including AI, with good judgment about when and how they should be applied.
